I was scrolling through the current events and I saw an article about how Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is going to become the first Japanese leader to visit Pearl Harbor. This article intrigued me because I love to read about positive stories in the media. Its so important to look at the good in this world because usually it isn't talked about. Im pleased to hear we can have peace with his tragic day.
As I was reading the article it talked about how Obama visited Hiroshima Park and shook hands with the Prime Minister after laying wreaths on the site. After this is when Abe said he would visit Pearl Harbor in late December. The Prime minister went to say "I will visit Pearl Harbor with Obama. This will be a visit to sooth the souls of the victims. We should never repeat the ravages of war" Reading what he said made me very happy it so pleasing to see and hear peace is possible in this world.
